MADDER ROOT - rubia tinctoria - one of the most popular natural dyes due to it's ability to withstand the test of time, light, and washing. It has been discovered on some of the oldest textiles in current existence, it creates a range of permanent reds / browns / purples that come from a chemical in the roots known as alizarin.

100% raw silk fabric dyed with natural dyes, hand crocheted tank neckline with raw silk braided ties, and drawstring at back for adjustability. Bias cut makes this dress hug in all the right ways, while the flowing design allows for plenty of freedom in movement. Raw edge curved hem.
