Red Hot Tank Gown

MADDER ROOT - rubia tinctoria - one of the most popular natural dyes due to it's ability to withstand the test of time, light, and washing. It has been discovered on some of the oldest textiles in current existence, it creates a range of permanent reds / browns / purples that come from a chemical in the roots known as alizarin.

INFO: a lightweight and easy to wear 100% organic cotton gauze, in a tank cut that fits and flatters many different body types. shirring at neck, and 18" slits on either side.  Crinkle fabric makes this a carefree piece that travels well. Slightly sheer, nude undergarments suggested. Raw hem, raw edge detail at side seams. Want it in a different color? Just ask, we can probably do that for you!

SIZING: measurements taken laying flat: 8" wide at neck, 32" wide at bust / hip / hem, 52" long. (too long? let us know your preferred length and we will shorten at no additional cost)

Each item is individually hand crafted, variances in appearance and evidence of the hand should be expected and celebrated! 

CARE: Hand wash in cool water with pH neutral soap, hang to dry. All items have been pre-washed and pre-shrunk in the dyeing process.
