MADDER - rubia tinctoria - one of the most popular natural dyes used for thousands of years, its range of rich reds/browns/purples comes from the alizarin in the roots.

LAC - laccifer lacca - an extract from the shellac secreted by a scale insect from India and Asia.

Respecting the body as the temple, this shrine dress honors the figure with it's comfort and drape. The stepped pattern at the neckline highlights the wearer, and its reversibility allows the wearer options of high or low front necklines (wear back-side on the front for higher neckline). Oh, and it has pockets! Mid-length sleeve, with zigzag pattern at neck
