My most recent project is a series of hand embroidered talisman, or "Stitch Wishes,"  designed to help trigger the subconscious and open up our minds to the infinite realm of possibilities through the use of symbolism. They are intended to be incorporated in our daily lives, sewn into a garment - your favorite jacket, your lucky bra, or a backpack - placed on an altar, or framed on a wall as a powerful form of metaphysical enhancement. These pieces were created to help access the inner realms of consciousness through the symbols dancing throughout time, simultaneously archaic and futuristic. Our conscious minds speak in verbal language, our subconscious speaks in images. Interpreted in a medium so closely familiar to us, textiles, these images get to travel with us as we find ways to become more transformative and expansive.
